La Wi-Fi Alliance anuncia el nuevo estándar 802.11ax al que han llamado Wi-Fi 6, y que promete:

• Más velocidad
• Más capacidad
• Mejor rendimiento en zonas con alta densidad de conexiones
• Mejor consumo energético

Así que ya nos han dejado obsoletos todos los puntos de acceso y los dispositivos que utilizamos

También han propuesto un nuevo esquema de identificación que ayudaría a saber si estamos conectados con el nuevo 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), con 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) o con 802.11an (Wi-Fi 4).
