[BD] Lector Samsung BD-P1400

Pues como no hay hilo de este lector, que yo sepa, inicio este post, en el que podriamos ir poniendo nuestras experiencias con este aparato, y avisar a los usuarios de cuando salga la nueva version.

En USA ya van por la 1.6, aqui estamos en la 1.5 y espero que no tarden demasiado en equipararnos.

Yo si que noto algun fallico.... por ejemplo, cuando le doy a stop y luego a play, me desaparecen los subtitulos en algunas peliculas.

En Hellboy version UK, le he dado a FF y luego a PLAY y la imagen me daba saltitos.... le he dado a PAUSE y luego a PLAY y se ha corregido el error.

En los AVForums han publicado un hack para hacerlo multizona para DVD. No lo he probado aun (estoy en el curro), pero ahi va (en English). Si alguien lo prueba, que diga si funciona.

1. Make sure the player is switched on, and is at the Samsung logo screen.

2. Also check the tray is shut and that there's no disc in the player.

3. Now press the REPEAT button on the remote, followed by a five digit code.

4. This code is different depending on what region your player is *currently* set to: R1 - 29334 R2 - 38767 R3 - 56732 R4 - 76884 R5 - 53814 R6 - 24462 So for example if you have an R2 player, press REPEAT-3-8-7-6-7.

5. If you've done this correctly (and your player is compatible with the hack), you should see a number at the top left corner of the screen corresponding to the current region.

6. Now, pressing any number from 1 to 6 will change to the corresponding region. Or, press 9 for "auto-region" mode.

7. Next, press OPEN/CLOSE to open the tray, followed by Standby (or DVD POWER) on the remote to close it and put the player into Standby mode.

8. The next time you turn your player on, the new region will be set. Don't forget that if you want to hack it again, you'll need to use a different code, as listed above. If it's currently set to "region 9", use the code for the last *proper* region you set it to.

Lo he pillado en redcoon, ademas ahora este articulo lo tienen con los gastos de envio gratis, me lo han enviado hoy por lo que me imagino que me llegará mañana.
Sobre si es mejor que el Sharp, ni idea.
 
el bueno de magnolia sólo quiere saber si este bicho decodifica y saca por las analógicas algún audio HD (el sharp saca pcm y dd true hd).

yo es que no me acuerdo. Podéis confirmar en este sentido qué tal va este bicho?
 
Joder, pues entonces interesa más que el Sharp, leñe.

Lo único el precio, que con el sharp te ahorras 50 eurillos. Pero vamos, compensa.
 
Tengo una duda.

Para escuchar los nuevos formatos de audio (los que descodifica el aparato) lo conecto mediante las salidas analógicas a la entrada 5.1 de mi amplificador (ya que no dispone de entrada HDMI). Sólo haciendo esto, ¿el aparato ya descodifica automaticamente los nuevos formatos? Porque no veo ninguna opción de configuración de la salida analógica. Sí que la hay de la salida digital (PCM o bitstream) pero esa no la uso.

Quizá la duda me surge porque no aprecio ninguna diferencia entre una pista DD 5.1, una True HD o una PCM.

Por cierto, tampoco me funciona el hack para hacerlo multizona y de momento lo tengo con el firmware de fabrica hasta que me de algún fallo.
