Todo puede pasar en Maine...
Horror author Stephen King and filmmaker J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot have both just tweeted about an exciting new project called “Castle Rock” which has been setup at streaming giant Hulu.
The tweets include a trailer below which seems to suggest a series that will incorporate numerous King books in a joint TV universe set in and around the fictional Maine town of Castle Rock which features in several of his books and scores plenty of mentions in others.
H.P. Lovecraft was the first horror author to set his various stories in the same literary universe which was dubbed the Cthulhu mythos. His work went on to inspire King who has done the same with his books, novellas and short stories over the years.
“Cujo,” “Needful Things,” “The Dark Half,” “Bag of Bones,” “The Dead Zone,” “The Body” and “The Sun Dog” are all set there. Additionally “IT,” “The Stand,” “Pet Semetary,” “The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon,” “Dreamcatcher,” “Gerald’s Game” mention it. Others such as “Misery” and “Salem’s Lot” could tie in as well suggests the trailer.
