Does your friendship with Neil Gaiman prompted you to ask him to write an episode of Doctor Who?
In fact, I had met once before working with him, it was of course, but it was not the main reason. He agreed to participate in the series and I gave him an opportunity.
Will he write another episode?
I'm sure. Right now we are putting in place the new season, we will have a meeting on Tuesday [July 5], so we have not made much progress.

BBC London’s Skinner joins Doctor Who as exec producer
New BBC Wales drama head Faith Penhale has appointed Caroline Skinner to take over the running of Doctor Who.
Skinner joins as executive producer later this summer, replacing Piers Wenger. She will co-exec this year’s Christmas special with writer Steven Moffat and Wenger, before the latter leaves to take up his new role as senior commissioner at Film 4.
Beth Willis, who was previously Doctor Who’s third exec producer, is also leaving in August, but the BBC has now said it is undecided about whether it will replace her on the show.
Skinner, who joins from BBC London drama productions, will work alongside Moffat to shape the creative direction of the show, with series seven shooting next year.
Moffat said: “It takes a particular kind of person to work on this show - you have to be prepared to work every day of the week and, above all, understand that Doctor Who is completely impossible to make - and then make it anyway.”
Skinner’s credits include House Of Saddam, Bleak House and the second series of Five Days for BBC1. Her work on the thriller led to her being nominated for a Bafta for Breakthrough Talent, and the organisation recently named her as one of its Brits to Watch.
Penhale, who was Kudos’ creative manager before joining BBC Wales, said Skinner was an “extremely talented executive” who would bring “vision and drive” to Doctor Who.

Bueno, pues he visto el capítulo con el cual Sorel lleva persiguiéndome por todo el foro. Y como siempre se lo agradezco. Sorel, master, otro diez como un piano.
Y puedo decir que es un capítulo delicioso y que condensa muy bien el terror, el suspense, el romance y la fantasía. Esos ángeles de piedra dan realmente grima (y eso sin moverse): la bso juega muy bien en ese aspecto. La ambientación lo es todo y es encomiable las dos bandas que contiene: realidad cotidiana urbanita (la tienda de DVD) junto con el drama en el hospital para pasar a ese terror de casa encantanda.
El Dr. de este capítulo es pura química y reconozco que es un buen personaje (siendo aquí un mero secundario). La idea de los easter eggs es realmente original, muy divertido.
Y la protagonista, junto con Emily Mortimer, acaba de pasar a ser de mis incondicionales: de esas bellezas que no te cansas de ver.
Un capítulo fabuloso... como siempre, haciéndome de rogar para ver algo muy divertido y bien acabado.
Aunque he pestañeado, sino se me secaban los ojos. No sé ahora en qué época estoy.
PD: Ahorraros lo que sé que me vais a decir del resto de la serie... muahahah. Ya tomaré cartas en el asunto.

People assume that the mind of Atreyub is a strict progression from thread to thread but actually from a non-lineal non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

Me encanta el plano ZAS del ángel. Una transformación bestial. O el plano donde ella pestañea y los ángeles de afuera desaparecen.
¡Eso, Carey Mulligan, no me salía el nombre!. Bonica del to'. Es belleza natural en estado puro.

The gang's all back! The Doctor, Amy, River and Rory return in what promises to be an action-packed belter of an adventure. So far the following details have emerged:
'In the desperate search for Melody Pond, the TARDIS crash lands in 1930s Berlin, bringing the Doctor face to face with the greatest war criminal in the Universe. And Hitler. The Doctor must teach his adversaries that time travel has responsibilities - and in so doing, learns a harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare of all.'
We also know it features Albert Welling as Hitler and is directed by Richard Senior, previously at the helm for Time and Space plus the Doctor Who pre-title sequence for this year's NTA awards.
Mark Gatiss has previously written spooky episodes including The Unquiet Dead and The Idiot's Lantern, but he promises that Night Terrors features some of the scariest moments he's ever dreamt up! The adventure has a modern day setting and features a little boy who has a fear of something... Can the Doctor help him?
Tom MacRae's previous credits include The Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel plus the critically acclaimed The Crash of the Elysium. This is his first television adventure for the Eleventh Doctor and it's directed by Nick Hurran who was recently at the helm for the updated version of the cult classic, The Prisoner.
We know the adventure is set in a hotel and features an alien called Gibbis played by David Walliams. Again, the episode is directed by Nick Hurran and as writer Toby Whithouse was behind School Reunion and The Vampires of Venice, we know we've got something special to look forward to!

Es que te voy a contar un secreto... tengo una persona (sí, creo que es una persona) que me lo recomendó, que decía que tenía que verlo a toda costa, que era una pasada, que no era forero ni nah hasta que no lo viera y bla bla bla...
Ya ves, me fío de cada uno. Pero no te preocupes, la próxima vez que me recomiende algo le pongo en contacto contigo para que os pongáis de acuerdo...
Será un poco romper el espacio tiempo pero quien sabe, quizás da para un buen capítulo del Dr. Who...

Rory partiéndole la cara a Hitler, River con parche, Cybermen explotando, Silence, la Kovarkian, Amy vieja, a lo Alicia y a lo samurai, David Walliams de topo, Churchill, minotauros, bichos raros en general, el Doctor con frac y... ¡Weeping Angels!

Eso sí, se deberían callar las afirmaciones del tipo biggest twist so far, que luego quedan en evidencia cuando nadie se sorprende con las revelaciones
No lo creo, lo del beso puede ser algo parecido a lo del cabezazo de The Lodger, y lo de River, simplemente que tal vez veamos a una Melody/River adulta que ya ha sido criada por Kovarian.Lo del beso con Craig Owens y lo de River con parche me hace pensar en un body swap. ¿Puede ser? River en el cuerpo de Craig y la matrona en el de River.
