Michael Schumacher is in a "critical condition" following a skiing accident in the French Alps resort of Meribel. The 44-year-old was thought to have sustained a minor knock to the head, but his condition has worsened in the last few hours after he was transferred from Moutiers hospital by helicopter to a much larger facility in Grenoble. Whilst he was conscious after the incident and during his transfer to Moutiers, the German fell into a coma when he was transferred to Grenoble according to a statement. "Mr. Schumacher was admitted to the University Hospital of Grenoble at 12:40pm (CET), following a skiing accident occurred in Méribel in the late morning. "He was suffering a serious brain trauma with coma on his arrival,"
