A los que habéis comprado la fantástica edición U.S.A. os agradecería me resolvieras la duda de sí los extras tienen subtítulos en castellano. Tanto los nuevos, que sí están incluidos en la edición española, como los exclusivos de la edición americana, "MGM: When the lion roars".Esta información puede ayudar mucho a todos aquellos que les gustaría adquirir esta edición.

Creo que ya se ha comentado antes. Los discos BD de la edición USA son los mismos editados en España y traen subtítulos en todo salvo en el audiocomentario. El disco con el megadocumental de MGM, es un DVD18 (DVD de doble cara y doble capa por cara) y no tiene ningún tipo de subtítulos subtítulos en español.

Ya lo comentó Archibald en el hilo de "El mago de Oz"

El documental de 6 horas "MGM: When The Lion Roars" trae subtítulos aunque no en español: sólo en inglés y francés.

viendo la comparativa de ZONADVD, me pegais si digo que hay algo que no me acaba de convencer? :p

la noto exageradamente contrastada, el color saturado (la captura de ellos dos, hiperbronceados) y con la mania de tirar a lo verdoso tan tipica de Warner (los cielos de la ultima imagen).

o igual son años de verla por la tv y que uno se acostumbra al tono suavizado, casi de acuarela, que le da un aire añejo a su vez.

A Elliot le pasa lo mismo que a mi, somos pellejos viejos y hemos estado durante muchos años viendo las copias casposas de nuestras "queridas" cadenas de TV y ahora con la HD en titulos clasicos; nos llama mucho la atencion el contraste y los cambios en colores y resoluciones que hemos visto adulterados durante años. :yes

¿No es asi? Porque yo, ademas de en esta lo he notado tambien en Centauros del desierto, Con la Muerte en los Talones, El Mago de Oz, Quo Vadis ...

Lo de Centauros es la fiesta. No lo vi con la edición especial en dvd pero de la antigua de doble cara al blu-ray hay un mundo de borrosidad y colores imaginarios.

Yo lo noto bien en las capturas; aún no la he visto en mi nuevo y flamante proyector Full hd (tenía que decirlo o explotaba). xD

Alguien ha visto la edicion española en algun Corte Ingles de Madrid, el otro dia estuve en el de Getafe y me dijeron que estaba agotada en todos los Cortes

Parece que Warner ha rectificado y la edición sencilla que ha editado en España viene con los 2 discos.

Gone With The Wind: 75th Anniversary — Blu-Ray Trailer

And to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the 1939 classic "Gone With The Wind," Warner Home Video will be releasing a special Blu-Ray Box-Set this month. Check out the newly-released promotional trailer, which reminds movie fans that the David O. Selznick-produced film is the sweeping romantic epic that started it all.

Considered as one of the most beloved films of all time -- as it still holds the record for the biggest box office take ever (adjusted for inflation, of course), "Gone With The Wind" earned 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and a couple of acting trophies for Vivien Leigh and Hattie McDaniel (the first African American to be nominated for, and win, an Oscar). It was also the first color film to win an Oscar for Best Picture. Although, arguably, it was Clark Gable's famous ending quote, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," that solidified the film's position in cinema history.

"Gone With The Wind: 75th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition" is hitting stores on Tuesday, September 30th. While a special 4-day theatrical re-release (courtesy of Fathom Events) is scheduled to run from Sunday, September 28 through Wednesday, October 1st.

No le llega ni a la suela del box de terciopelo. Que pena como Warner ha ido abaratando estas cajas.
