Box Office - Enseñame la pasta!!!!

Ufff yo a esta si que la veo con expectativas. Llevan mas de un año inflandolas. No son personajes conocidos por el publico general como lo eran batman y superman (de ahi ayuditas como las apariciones de batman y el joker, que me da que si los quitan del montaje final no se notaria nada). Pero han sabido venderla genial.

El disfraz de Harley fue el mas vendido el ultimo halloween, y la peli aun no se ha estrenado.
 
GUARDIANS y DEADPOOL le abrieron mucho camino. Y la han estado vendiendo muy bien. Muy mal runrún tendría que tener para no triunfar.
 
Bueno. Bourne abre con 60, star trek y cazafantasmas pasan de los 100. Mascotas ha sido un exitazo, Ice age por si no daba suficientes muestras de agotamiento se la ha pegado a lo grande y Dory ya podria considerarse como la mas taquillera del año en EEUU.

Y Cazafantasmas y Star Trek serían rentables si no hubieran costado lo que ha costado cada una. La comedia de la nostalgia, 144 millones. Una comedia. La otra, 185. Así es imposible recuperar nada.
 
185 millones para una peli cuyas dos anteriores no es que hayan arrasado precisamente.

Y Cazafantasmas, es una puta comedia de 144 millones.

Suicide Squad might be taking a critical beating in North America, but the first day of overseas grosses has been nothing but positive. The ensemble super-villain pic brought in $8.1 million from 7 markets on Wednesday, including a $2.9 million debut from 732 screens in South Korea. The Korean debut is the second biggest opening day of all time for Warner Bros., the biggest August opening day of all time for a U.S. film, the fourth biggest bow for a superhero flick, and the biggest debut for stars Will Smith and Margot Robbie in the market.



Elsewhere, Suicide Squad opened at $2.7 million on 667 screens in France (including previews), claiming 53% of the Top 5 market share. Sweden also performed strongly, with a $564k bow from 147 screens and 53% share of the Top 5 films in the market.

Suicide Squad expands to three additional ket markets today: Russia, Australia, and Brazil.

FRIDAY AM UPDATE #2: Internationally, Suicide Squad is now up to $29.6 million after two days in release in 40 overseas markets. Yesterday it opened in Russia with an estimated $3.9 million, the industry's biggest opening day of all-time. In Australia it saw an estimated $2.4 million on its opening day from 516 screens, which includes $350,000 from midnight shows. In Brazil it brought in an estimated $3 million on its opening day and after opening yesterday in South Korea it is now up to $4.7 million after two days in release and $4.2 million in France after its first two days.

The film expands into an additional 17 territories today, including the UK, Spain and Mexico.

Con BvS sobre estimaron más de 5 millones.

Y ojo, que leo que en China está la cosa jodida para el estreno por el tema del personaje de encantadora y su magia.
 
Si. Con China tendran que mover ficha rapido o lo llevan jodido, como dejen mucho margen es posible que la pirateria les afecte fatal.
