i am from Germany and we have same Problem with AVCHD playback with our 2.0 Firmware. I tested a lot the past 2 days and found a solution.
AVCHDs authored with Nero are still playable with 2.0 Firmware.
AVCHDs made with this tutorial should work, on mine with 2.0 they do.
Its my first post so i cannot post URLs, please change xx to tt and paste into your broswer.

If you want to make your old AVCHDs also playable you only have to do these steps:
4. Unpack the file "AVCHD_leer.zip" (AVCHD_empty). You will get the folder structure for the AVCHD-Disc.
5. Now open Total commander and select on the one side the created Blu-Ray Disc (your old AVHCD) and on the other side the empty AVCHD-Disc. Just copy the folders "Clipinf", "Playlist" and "Stream" into the AVCHD folder.
Then burn it with UDF 2.50.
What happens?
In my opinion, the not working AVCHDs are not AVCHDS but Bluray on DVD.
Till Firmware 1.2/1.3 the Player recognized them as Bluray Disc, the BD Symbol lights on the Display and played them.
Since 2.0 it seems so there is a check if the recognized Bluray is really on a Bluray Disc. It determinates Bluray Disc on DVD, an throws it out.
The working Nero authored AVCHDs are recognized as DVDs, the DVD Symbol lights on the Display, they work.
I reported the AVCHD issue to our Samsung Support 3 days ago, no reply till today. We have no chat here.
But I have another problem with Firmware 2.0 i've noticed yesterday.
If i set the Video Output to 1080p and 24p on, it plays Blurays in 1080/24p.
But DVDs and my Nero authored AVCHDs only in 1080i.
The old Firmware played both in 1080p too. I have some AVCHDs with 24p, the old Firmware played them 1080/24p the new one only 1080i.
Maybe someone can check this too.
Conclusion
I made a downgrade to the old Firmware. I can live without BD-Live and DivX support.
