Es otro caso Watch Dogs.
There are a handful of items gamers want to know about when it comes to Tom Clancy's The Divisionand among those happens to be single-player. While the game is largely a co-op and competitive multiplayer focused experience, Ubisoft Massive has said there will be single-player for people to enjoy.
Now to what extent single-player will be involved in The Division remains to be the question as we head into the end of the year. Today, Ubisoft posted a new podcast for Tom Clancy's The Divisionand in it were some remarks made by The Division Senior Character Artist Emil Mujanovic and The Division Game Designer Drew Rechner. Mujanovic began by talking about the audiences the game caters to.
"I think that's what is really cool. We do cater towards quite a large audience as well. It's not just the true Clancy crowd, we also cater towards some RPG people, we cater towards story-driven people, people who want to play co-op. We also have the PvP region," Mujanovic said in a new podcast.
The Division Game Designer Drew Rechner then switched to speak about how he feels it is playing the game single-player. "Co-op is kind of inherently fun, especially if you're playing with your friends. I really enjoy our game single-player as well, it's really a lot of fun," Rechner said.
Mujanovic followed up those remarks with some additional ones in regards to how gamers will need to rethink their approaches when playing single-player. "That's exactly it, you almost have to come to rethink the skills that you currently have. It's like, 'okay this fight looks way more [difficult], so maybe I should focus on self-heals or maybe I should focus on looking around and exposing my targets,'" Mujanovic said.
We're very interested to see how exactly the game's single-player experience shapes up, especially when compared to co-op and competitive multiplayer. Will it just be a token experience with no real depth or will it have tangible meaning? We'll find out soon enough as Tom Clancy's The Divisionlaunches on March 8.
