World Premiere of TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN in Japan on June 8

According to Japanese site eiga.com, the world premiere of TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN will be held in Japan on June 8 in Tokyo at Roppongi Hills.
Head over here for details, but it's in Japanese so good luck with that. Google translator does an ok job at translating.
The article says director Michael Bay and stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will be in attendance at the event.
Japan is also getting the film days before North America, as it is set to release there on June 20.

Testosterone-fueled aggro rap rockers, Linkin Park have announced via member Mike Shinoda's blog that they will be writing the score for Michael Bay's testosterone-fueled "Transformers" sequel, the sure-to-be aggro, "Transformers: Revenge Of the Fallen."
Though composer Steve Jablonsky (who scored Bay's last "Transformers" film) is still noted as the composer for the 'Revenge of the Fallen,' on UpcomingFilmScores and IMDB, it appears its "The Dark Knight," composer Hans Zimmer who has got the sequel gig.
"My bandmates and I are working with award-winning film composer (and resident ass-kicker) Hans Zimmer," Shinoda wrote, adding that the band wrote a new song for the blockbuster mega-picture sure to be short on subtlety. "The song we wrote is being used as one of the themes, and we will be writing various interpolations on that theme, and trying out some other thematic ideas as part of the (very large) team scoring the film."
Linkin Park's "What I've Done", was the de facto theme to "Transformers" and energy-drink chugger Michael Bay is obviously an extreme fan of the band's extreme rap rock.
Zimmer has been on a collaborative tear with pop musicians of late having worked with the Wu-Tang's RZA ("Babylon A.D"), Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez ("The Burning Plain"), and Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas ("Madagascar 2").
Zimmer was also recently announced as the composer to Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams which is due Christmas 2009. "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen," is due in theaters June 24. [via FirstShowing]
