Pues no me gustaría lo más mínimo que el fiambre fuese River, porque se carga la gran idea de desarrollar a un personaje a partir de su muerte gracias a la perspectiva del viaje temporal... y si "time can be rewritten" y resulta que ya no palma en la Biblioteca, casi que estás pasándote por el forro la misma esencia del personaje para con la serie.
Pero vamos, tengo ya el culo quemao para saber que NUNCA hay que tomarse literalmente cualquier cosa que diga Moffat. A saber qué tiene preparado para esa "muerte".

Que iba a haber actividad a dos o tres semanas del comienzo era obvio; empieza la promoción y en UK Doctor Who es uno de los highlights.

Estamos hablando de Moffatt y un episodio en el que nos avisan que el wibbly va a wobbly muy a lo timey wimey... Los cuatro reaparecen en la serie posteriormente; ya veremos con qué nos salen; es tonteria especular en una serie en la que las reglas son tan... timey wimey.

Por cierto, una cosa que se me olvidó comentar: ¿la vocecita que le habla a Nixon no es la misma que pedía ayuda en la nave de The Lodger? (no sé si el personaje, pero la voz parece la misma: ¿será la versión femenina de Briggs?)

El personaje no creo que sea el mismo, la "niña" de The lodger no era más que un avatar programado, como el viejo. ¿Misma actriz infantil? Quién sabe... De todas formas estoy seguro de que sabremos más de esa niña asustada en el episodio, ¿por qué puede ver ella a los Silents si el resto de la gente parece que no puede? ¿O pueden pero están aliados con ellos ("en la Casa Blanca contaban las cucharas de plata cuando Nixon se iba", Woody Allen dixit)?

Buf, prefiero dejar de teorizar... al final será cualquier otra cosa.

Por cierto, me gusta tu teoría sobre el díptico inicial, podían empezar por el final a lo Damages
Yo lo digo porque si es cierto que a lo largo de la temporada vamos a volver a ver la TARDIS de The Lodger (que es lo que parece por lo que se veía en uno de los trailers) a Craig y a Sophie, no sería descabellado volvernos a encontrar también con el avatar programado y descubrir quién estaba detrás de la construcción de la misma.

Actor Sylvester McCoy (The Seventh Doctor) is to attend a convention Spain later this year - the first time the country has hosted a "Doctor" at such an event. The WeekendTrek - CifiCon 2011 takes place June 17-19 in Barcelona and there are 2 types of tickets available:

Por otra parte, no sé qué tiene Ferguson que saca el lado más cochinote de los de la serie que pasan por su programa (obviamente estamos recogiendo firmas para que vaya la pelirroja):

¿Los Cybermen son los de nuestro universo o los del alternativo? Porque parece que no llevan el logo de Cybus, pero el diseño de los de atrás parece que es el mismo de los de la era Davies.

Los nuevos Cybermen no son los de Cybus, gente "de dentro" lo comentó hace tiempo, pero el rediseño ha sido tan sutil (como dice Sorel, la pasta es la pasta) que hay gente decepcionada porque esperaban un nuevo diseño más retro, ¿más cercano a los trajes de papel albal de los inicios? La verdad es que sí, podían haberles cambiado ALGO aparte del logo, al menos para señalar que ya no son los de Lumic... por cierto que en la foto se los ve con pistolones.
Por otra parte la aparicion del Cybermen medio roto en The Pandorica Opens me gusta más que dípticos enteros dedicados a estos villanos, mucho más amenazador y siniestro (los cables-tentáculos, la calavera), así que a ver qué hacen ahora con ellos...
Por cierto, Sorel se ha dejado una fotilla, por si alguien quiere ver a The Silence:

Seguramente no tengan nada que ver, pero me recordó a ellos, porque también visten traje y tienen muuuuucho que ver con el silencio. Si tienes curiosidad por ver el episodio es el 4x10, Hush.
De los mejores de la serie y el episodio, no sólo me parece uno de los mejores de Buffy si no de la historia de la TV, a la altura de Blink y similares.
Seguramente no tengan nada que ver, pero me recordó a ellos, porque también visten traje y tienen muuuuucho que ver con el silencio. Si tienes curiosidad por ver el episodio es el 4x10, Hush.
