A mí es un momento que me parece muy bonito por su misterio y su inocencia, cuando el canon todavía estaba casi en blanco y podían hacer lo que les saliera del forro. Tiene su gracia que "retroactivamente" los fans hayan aceptado tácitamente que en realidad son las anteriores encarnaciones de Morbius, para que los Doctores sean los que conocemos. Pero ser niño y ver ese momento, esos vistazos rápidos a otras encarnaciones, cuando de Hartnell o Troughton apenas habrán podido repescar alguna reposición puntual... eso tiene que ser impagable.MORBIUS es cojonudo, me parece más redondo que GENESIS, que es un clásico absoluto pero el "síndrome de los seis episodios" le pasa un pelín de factura, con gente escapándose, siendo capturada, volviendo a escaparse... Rondan fan-edits muy apañados al respecto.
Eccleston no está tan apreciado por cien cosas... sólo una temporada, con la serie aún un poco a ciegas, una interpretación menos extravagante, alguna discrepancia creativa sobre ella, justo antes del torbellino Tennant, muchos aún guardan tirria al actor... pero es un muy buen Doctor. Estoy seguro de que en el futuro será reivindicado.

Pues yo estoy seguro de que será reivindicado en el pasado. Este es el Who de Moffat, pay attention.
Además a un grupito de aficionados se les ha metido en la cabeza que desprecia su etapa solo porque no está babeando en cada entrevista sobre ella y comete el terrible pecado de querer hablar de la pelicula que promociona en cada momento en lugar de la miligesima pregunta sobre el programa. El fandom de Doctor Who es casi tan entretenido como la serie, y tiene una ventaja: nunca es aburrido.
Por causas ajenas a mi voluntad, y ante la ausencia temporal (nunca mejor dicho) de un miembro de mi familia, he tenido que parar las sesiones nocturnas del Doctor mediada la segunda temporada. En vistas a que no se reanudarán, con suerte, hasta finales de semana, he decidido agenciarme los capítulos de las temporadas venideras.
El caso es que me está siendo imposible encontrar en castellano (o catalán) los especiales que van entre la 3ª y la 4ª (Time Crash y El viaje de los condenados)... no sé si me explico.
En todo caso ¿son imprescindibles en la continuidad de la serie o se pueden obviar (con todo el dolor de mi corazón)?

Time Crash no lo he visto, solo son 8 minutos y es un episodio benéfico.
El viaje de los condenados es un Titanic en el espacio con Kylie Minogue, creo que no guarda mucha relación con la continuidad de la serie pero como casi-película de catástrofes en el espacio está bien.

Hombre, los especiales navideños son siempre esenciales aunque en su mayor parte sean capítulos autoconclusivos.

Es la primera vez que el Doctah se encuentra consigo mismo en la serie moderna y eso puede hacer que lo flipen, aunque no conozcan al Doctah de Peter Davison,

Acabo de terminar la 1ª en Netflix y no sabía que Eccleston sólo estuvo una temporada, así que el cambio me ha pillado de sorpresa. Tras ver el primero de la 2ª me quedo con Eccleston de calle...

Terminada la 2ª temporada y menudo susto me he llevado al ver la compañera que le habían endosado al Doctor en el especial de Navidad (me recordaba a una novia que tuvo mi hermano y que me caía como una patada en los huevos). Casi lloro de alegría al final del capítulo
