DUNE 35th ANNIVERSARY ✨

Thirty-five years ago, on February 6th 1985, Dune was released in France.

Unfortunately, this picture is a (neat !) fanart created by Adam Rackoff (based on a Dune production illustrator Ron Miller's painting of the hand moon) and not an official cover artwork. It's highly doubtful that we will see one day such a Dune's “Never-Before-Seen 5-Hour Cut”, as the deleted scenes were probably destroyed back in the late 80's, and David Lynch has never expressed any interest to work on a new "Director's Cut" so far. However, probably in conjunction with Denis Villeneuve's new version of Dune to be released in December 2020, some DVD and Blu-Ray specialized websites are mentioning that Universal Studios Entertainment will possibly release Dune on physical 4K later in the year, probably this summer.

“It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.”

Pues vaya mierda....
