La cuestión está clara con el tema de HOBBITON.
Para el rodaje de ESDLA tuvieron que construirlo y plantar vegetación 1 año antes para que la cosa creciera y pareciera un pueblecito de verdad... Viendo los retrasos y posibles cancelaciones lo más probable es que vayan plantando cosas y reconstruyendo agujeros para luego dejarlo un tiempecito bajo el sol... TODO CUADRA. Un año más para esperar a que se ruede.

La cuestión está clara con el tema de HOBBITON.
Para el rodaje de ESDLA tuvieron que construirlo y plantar vegetación 1 año antes para que la cosa creciera y pareciera un pueblecito de verdad... Pj ha dicho que está con los fans en cuanto a la poca acogida que han tenido los blurays y ha criticado a Warner por no contar con él, él dice que en sus versiones siempre aportaba algo más y estas no aportan nada. Vamos que él tampoco se las habría comprado

The Wall Street Journal reports today that the Imax Corporation has signed a deal with studio Warner Brothers to release up to 20 films through 2013.
Among the 15 films whose release dates are pending confirmation are Dark Shadows, Superman, and Batman 3.
The remaining 5 films that have been “locked” are the last two installments of the Harry Potter franchise: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (in 3D), Happy Feet 2, and The Hobbit in December 2013.
The snippet of the article gives no indication about whether the December 2013 release time frame pertains to the first or the second Hobbit film, nor whether the films will be in 3D. Only subscribers to the Wall Street Journal have access to the entire article, so anyone with the ability to do so is welcome to send in any details concerning The Hobbit films that might be in there to spymaster@theonering.net.
UPDATE: We’ve just received word that news about the 2013 release is WRONG, sorta. The FIRST Hobbit film is still set for 2012, and the second is set for 2013.
This was reported incorrectly on an IMAX press release and was picked up across the interweb.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We got word that Australian actor Jack Thompson (not to be confused with the US prick trying to censor video games) appeared at a Sci-Fi con or gathering of some sort in Sydney this past weekend and mentioned that he was up for Thorin in The Hobbit.
If I'm not mistaken this picture was taken at the talk where he dropped that bomb:

LA Weekly columnist Nikki Finke seems to have some new information that even the Eagles, ahem, the rest of the inerweb hasn’t caught wind of yet. Reporting over at Deadline.com on Peter Jackson’s plans for the new King Kong 360 3D attraction at the Universal Studios Hollywood studio tour, she digresses to update fans on a few things “Hobbit”, all of which seem to indicate that serious matters are ongoing even as we wait and watch and speculate.

On The Hobbit front, I’m told that both scripts are in, that discussions are underway right now to determine if they’ll shoot in 3D. (I think it’s inevitable). They will set everything in place in a New Zealand powwow next month, and then casting will begin for a November start.

¿Y el rollo de querer mantener la linea de la trilogia? Ya, que el dinero manda no? En fin... hasta de Peter me lo puedo esperar.

Tenía entendido que Peter Jackson siempre había sido un fan del 3D, así que tampoco sería tan raro que rodaran El Hobbit así... aunque como dices lo lógico sería mantener la linea con las primeras, no te preocupes que te las pasan a 3D y punto.
