Si alguien podía hacerlo, ese era Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). Según The Sun, “Misión: Imposible 5″ será la primera película que rodará parte de sus escenas en el interior del Parlamento británico.

Afirman que la ciudad de Londres se verá bien reflejada en la ficción a través de sus localizaciones, pero que el Parlamento será la más jugosa de todas. Cruise, por supuesto, tendrá el protagonismo absoluto en esas secuencias.

Alec Baldwin is in negotiations to join Tom Cruise in Paramount Pictures' Mission: Impossible 5, while The White Queen star Rebecca Ferguson has emerged as the top choice to play the female lead.

If a deal is finalized, Alec Baldwin will play a high-ranking CIA officer who oversees the division lead by Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt. The role is reportedly similar to Laurence Fishburne's Theodore Brassel in 2006's Mission: Impossible III.

No formal offer has been issued to Rebecca Ferguson, but the actress is reportedly the top choice of both Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie. Jessica Chastain was offered the role back in April, but she ultimately passed because she could not commit enough time to the extensive shoot. Sources indicate that the studio wants the actress to start training in the near future, which would go all the way through to production, scheduled to wrap in January. While Rebecca Ferguson has the right look the producers are looking for, her schedule also allows her to fully commit to the part.

Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg are expected to reprise their roles from 2011's Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.

Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) is directing from a script by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3), based on characters created by Bruce Geller from the Mission: Impossible TV series. J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise are producing with Skydance Productions' David Ellison. It isn't known when production will begin, but Paramount has issued a December 25, 2015 release date for the sequel.

Ving Rhames Returns for Mission: Impossible 5

Ving Rhames, who has appeared in all the "Mission: Impossible" movie so far as Luther Stickell, will return in Mission: Impossible 5. The film's director, Christopher McQuarrie, tweeted the following: "Welcome back, Mr. Rhames. cc: @TomCruise @simonpegg @Renner4Real #MI5Diary"

As noted by McQuarrie in the tweet, he's joining Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg in the December 25, 2015 release. Rebecca Ferguson will reportedly play the female lead, while Alec Baldwin is said to play the head of the CIA in the new film.

The last installment, the Brad Bird-directed Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, opened in December of 2011 and earned an impressive $694.7 million worldwide on a budget of $145 million. Rhames had more of a cameo appearance in that film instead of a full role.

Paramount Pictures y Skydance Productions han anunciado hoy que ha comenzado la fotografía principal de la quinta entrega de la supertaquillera saga, 'Mission:Impossible 5'. La nueva película se rodará en Viena, Marruecos y Londres. Christopher McQuarrie la dirigirá a partir de un guión de Drew Pearce y Christopher McQuarrie junto a Will Staples.

La película está protagonizada por Tom Cruise retomando el emblemático papel de Ethan Hunt, quien se presentó por primera vez ante los espectadores en 1996. Estarán de nuevo en la saga Simon Pegg como Benji, Jeremy Renner como Brandt y Ving Rhames como Luther. Uniéndose al reparto estarán Alec Baldwin y Rebecca Ferguson.

La cuarta entrega de la saga que triunfó en todo el mundo, 'Misión: Imposible. Protocolo Fantasma', recaudó casi 700 millones de dólares en todo el mundo y se convirtió en la película más taquillera de Cruise en su prolífica carrera. Respecto a la saga, ha recaudado más de 2.000 millones de dólares en taquilla, convirtiéndose en una de las sagas de mayor éxito de la historia del cine.

La película está producida por Tom Cruise, a través de Tom Cruise Productions y por J.J. Abrams y Bryan Burk a través de Bad Robot. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg y Don Granger, de Skydance Productions, serán los productores ejecutivos.

Hace unos días os avisábamos del cierre de una playa de Malta para el rodaje de “By the sea”, lo nuevo Angelina Jolie + Brad Pitt, y ahora toca advertiros de que no se va a poder utilizar una de las vías principales de Marruecos durante los próximos quince días. Porque Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) y su equipo van a estar por allí rodando “Misión: Imposible 5″.

La Sociedad Nacional de Autopistas de Marruecos ha hecho público que la carretera entre Agadir y Casablanca va a estar cortada hasta la medianoche del próximo 12 de septiembre, luego no digáis que no lo sabíais; además, la filmación pasará por Rabat y Marrakech. No hay nada imposible para ellos.

While Deadline’s story on his casting has him negotiating and cautions that it’s not a done deal, McQuarrie appears much more bullish, welcoming Harris to the film in a Tweet this weekend.

Parece el maloso del Far cry3, sobre la franquicia de Cruise, la cuatro no la acabé encima en el cine, creo que llegué hasta una tormenta. Manda cojones abandonar una peli en una escena de acción.
 
Dale otra oportunidad a la 4, Helio. Sinceramente es otra peli que mejora con cada nuevo visionado. Yo la he visto ya unas 3-4 veces y encuentro que tiene un potencial enorme y una dirección en las escenas de acción apabullantes. Lástima de no tener un villano en condiciones. Los buenos están en las entregas impares.
 
Ahora empieza el nuevo curso. A lo mejor ahora le da por el sánscrito o el alemán tipificado, quien sabe. Dussander es un chico de recursos.
 
Bueno, cuando decía "hacer" me refería a su participación en ella como secundario cómico siendo, quizás, con permiso de Downey Jr. lo mejor de la peli. Aunque claro, el spin-off también se agradecería.

En Austin Powers era más un mero cameo. Casi ni cuenta.
