Deberían haber tirado muchas casas y haber hecho las pistas más largas y usarlas... Joder, era el aeropuerto Nazi, es mítico.
 
Iberia sigue estudiando que avión comprar para renovar la flota de largo radio. ¿A350? ¿787-9? o ¿777X? Son aviones muy distintos, del 787-9 al 777 hay un abismo, pero claro, tampoco son las mismas rutas y mejor comprar dos modelos según el tipo de rutas que tengan. Lo que buscan sobretodo es que puedan despegar desde sus destinos más importantes en América como Bogotá y México sin penalizar demasiado debido a la altura de estos aeropuertos.

Curioso, la compañía de Teodoro Obiang (Ceiba) que empezó hace un par de años a operar a Madrid, lleva tiempo sin poder traer su 777 y el vuelo lo opera Privilege. Le han tenido que hacer una inspección de aupa y prohibirles la operación, ya que la compañía ya de por sí estaba en la lista negra de la UE.
 
Eso de aerolíneas dejando de operar destinos por el mundial... durante ocho meses!

Le faltarían las partes amarillas de la primera versión de las jetas. Al final se han hecho los españoles y han dejado la librea en plan cutre.

Por cierto, typical spanish, donde la cutreza es nuestra razón de ser. El avión solo lleva el vinilo por el lado izquierdo.

Atención al atentado en Karachi. Copio lo leído en FB:

We have received news that 7 aircraft have completely been destroyed that included 1 Cargolux 747 & 1 PIA A310 (AP-BDZ). An ATR from PIA and an Airblue bird has been damaged as well. Thai 333 (HS-TEL) bearing Star Alliance livery has also been damaged badly as rumored. She is suggested to be on the tarmac as during the time of attack she getting ready to depart KHI. An EK 77W (A6-EBP) is also suggested to in the same predicament. Reports came in that an hijacking attempt was made on her. Runway is under siege by the terrorist body as of now still. Huge fire has been seen in the airport which is being attributed to the blowing up of oil depots present in the premises.

Gunmen attacked a cargo and V.I.P. area of Karachi’s international airport late Sunday night, engaging in a heavy firefight with security forces and killing at least four of them, Pakistani security officials said. Hijacking has been attempted as rumours are coming in. 6 Planes have been set on fire according to sources. Witnesses saw heavy plumes of smoke rising from the airport, and one Pakistani news channel showed footage of a large fire burning from where a few planes were parked.

Security forces sealed off the airport, and flights began being diverted away from Karachi soon after the firing began. Lets just hope that the whole mess gets sorted out quickly and everyone stays safe. Our prayers are with those in KHI!
