DOLBY VISION, HDR10+ e IMAX ENHANCED

Ahora que he descubierto que se pueden devolver las películas de iTunes, y ya que he probado voy a devolverles la de Animales fantasticos jajajaja
 
Ronda, por si tienes curiosidad, ya tengo el Apple tv 4K y en mi proyector noto que el streaming no da la talla con respecto a los discos y es una pena.

Curiosamente si selecciono salida 4K HDR 60hz me marca 10 bits de video

Pero si pongo 24hz no me da la información. Lo que no me gusta es que el sistema operativo está por encima del vídeo concreto. Es decir el tipo de salida la seleccionas tú, pero luego aunque el vídeo sea de inferior calidad, el sistema operativo lo escala a la calidad seleccionada y realmente no sabes lo que estás viendo.

No me parece serio, la verdad.

Tenía más o menos claro que al pasar a través del OPPO algo estaba ocurriendo y no me podía fiar, así que me quedo más tranquilo con los 10b.
No te sale la info 24Hz? A mí sí que la tele me reconoce como 24p.
 
Mira el hilo del apple TV, yo no quiero un aparato que la calidad la determine un ajuste de un menú sin tener para nada en cuenta las propiedades del video reproducido.

Con los 24hz sí que me sale que es a 24...pero misteriosamente no me informa de los 10bits.

Un cacao de sistema operativo que no quiero ver ni en pintura.

Está claro que la calidad de los discos es a día de hoy insuperable.

Yo me lo quedo porque tengo un ecosistema Apple y me viene muy bien, pero lo que dije al principio. Si se pretende comparar con la calidad de los discos, la decepción puede ser importante.
 
Ya lo dije yo, y al final es que no entiendo la postura absurda de Apple en este sentido. Al final es joder a tus clientes por tu chulería de mierda.

Hoy se supone que sale Gru Mi villano favorito 3, y en teoría debería llevar DOLBY VISIÓN, todo un acontecimiento por las pocas que hay en este formato. Y digo en teoría porque hasta que no la pruebe o se confirme que lo lleva no las tengo todas conmigo.

Parece que tus plegarias tendrán respuesta y el Dolby Vision empieza a llegar a las películas importantes.
 
No creas que es algo que me quite el sueño, pero bueno, yo cualquier tipo de mejora, por pequeña que esta sea, la agradezco.

Ahora falta que las ediciones que vendan por aquí lo lleve, porque leoni me confirmó que la edición alemana de Power Rangers no venía con Dolby Vision mientras que la americana sí que lo lleva. Sé que es raro, pero parece que es así en ese caso.

Tendrán que pagar por copia a Dolby, seguro. No les saldrá a cuenta hacer tirada universal.
 
Parece que la nueva Transformers es un título que literalmente se sale en el nuevo formato UHD

Dolby Vision vs HDR-10:
I recently added the TCL 55P607 UHD Dolby Vision HDR flat panel to my review system. This was to enable me to compare the visual quality of titles that contained the Dolby Vision metadata versus its HDR-10 counterpart on the same disc. All titles are first watched via my JVC front projector. I then select specific scenes which are watched on the TCL, first via HDR-10 then via Dolby Vision. The TCL isn’t among the top tier flat panels with DV, however it came recommended by AVS Forum Senior Editor Mark Henninger, and calibrates/performs extremely well for a set at its price point.

* The cumulative A/V score will still be based upon the HDR-10 rating, with the DV rating serving as informational only for now.*

Comparing the DV and HDR-10 presentations for Transformers: The Last Knight, I found the HDR to be extremely close. In fact, I would go so far as to say they were nearly negligible, with the slight edge going to DV for providing a hint more richness to primary colors, and the dynamic highlights found in the film’s plethora of action sequences. The differences don’t warrant a deduction, resulting in the same rating for each. I found nothing to complain about with either as they look great.
