Martin Donovan se incorpora a “Ant-Man”

No parece mala cosa.

'Ant-Man': T.I. Reveals His Role; Michael Pena Talks Secrecy
Michael Pena discusses the level of secrecy involved in the 'Ant-Man' production, while T.I. reveals he plays Scott Lang's 'homeboy.'

With production currently under way on Marvel's Phase Three adventure Ant-Man, new details have surfaced about the production from stars Michael Pena and actor/rapper T.I..

While promoting his World War II movie Fury, Michael Pena praised the work of co-stars Paul Rudd and David Dastmalchian, although it still isn't clear who exactly Michael Pena is playing.

"So far, it's really really good working on the movie. Paul Rudd is amazing [and] I know he's gonna be awesome as Ant-Man. David Dastmalchian is a really good actor and he's really funny in [Ant-Man]. I can't wait to keep shooting."

The actor also spoke about the level of secrecy involved in the production, revealing he has to sign forms in order to get a script while on the set.

"Dude! It's a machine, man! And I understand now because, like, in order for me to get a script, I have to sign stuff. Somebody's got to deliver it straight to me, and I can only have one copy. They're very, very like protective of their scripts. And I didn't quite understand why. And then I've seen like a couple articles on how a movie script gets leaked, especially for Marvel, then the movie doesn't do as well. Because it gets out -everybody knows the story. And with a Marvel movie in particular, you want to be surprised. You want to be awed by something. And it doesn't really work because it's always kind of a mystery. So if you know everything about the murder mystery, it's not gonna be as exciting."

He also briefly discussed reading the original script by Edgar Wright, and went on to praise producer Kevin Feige.

"I read the script with Edgar Wright in the beginning. It was really cool. He's another guy that when you talk to him and you realize his vision elevates what was already awesome on the page. Then, it didn't work out with him. But, I'm still on it. It's that Marvel way of doing movies, which is really interesting. Kevin Feige is killing it."

In related news, Atlanta-based rapper/actor T.I. shed new light on his character, who was once thought to be a villain. As it turns out, the actor is actually playing a friend of Paul Rudd's Scott Lang.

"I play [Ant-Man's] homeboy. It's four of us and each of us is an ex-con, including Ant-Man."

When asked if he is being typecast because of his background, the actor had this to say.

"Not really; you could say so, but I'm actually more reformed in the movie than I am in real life."

'Ant-Man': Hayley Atwell Confirmed to Appear as Peggy Carter
Casting directors are seeking a stand-in for Hayley Atwell's character Peggy Carter on the Atlanta set of Marvel's 'Ant-Man'.

Back in August, we reported a rumor that Marvel's Ant-Man may include certain characters from Captain America: The First Avenger, including Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark, Toby Jones' Armin Zola, and a younger version of Alexander Pierce, a character played by Robert Redford in this year's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While the other characters have not been confirmed yet, a new casting notice reveals that Hayley Atwell has joined the Ant-Man cast.

Take a look at the casting call below, which is seeking actresses to play Hayley Atwell's stand-in.

"Casting directors are looking for an actor to work as a stand-in for the actor Hayley Atwell'. Hayley Atwell is 31, 5'7 and 112 pounds. She is best known for her work in stage productions such as A View from the Bridge, and in films such as Cassandra's Dream, The Duchess, The Pillars of the Earth, and Captain America: The First Avenger. In addition, casting directors are looking for a body double that meets certain requirements."

The original rumor revealed that Hank Pym takes a meeting with S.H.I.E.L.D. founding members Peggy Carter, Howard Stark, Armin Zola and Alexander Pierce, although no details about that meeting were given. We reported back in January that Ant-Man begins in the early 1960s, with Hank Pym fighting Communism, before shifting to the modern-day Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas. It was reportedly this scene featuring other members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that lead to the departure of director Edgar Wright back in May.

Hayley Atwell is also reprising her Peggy Carter role for the ABC TV series Marvel's Agent Carter, which debuts in mid-season. What do you think about Hayley Atwell returning for Ant-Man? Chime in with your thoughts below.

Marvel's 'Ant-Man' Trailer Is Coming Soon
The first teaser for Marvel's 'Ant-Man' has been rated by the Alberta Films Rating board, and may debut sometime next week.

Before Guardians of the Galaxy hit theaters, everyone thought it was a huge risk for Marvel. Fans proved that notion wrong, as the movie went onto become the biggest release of 2014. Its doubtful that Ant-Man will fare as well, since it is being released alongside Disney's two juggernauts Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Age of Ultron. But its no longer seen as a risk for Marvel Studios, and fans are becoming more and more interested in the title as its release grows nearer. That excitement should triple once the first trailer hits, which will be very soon. The only question is when and where will we see it first?

The Alberta Films Rating board has confirmed that they received the finished trailer, and they have rated it PG. The teaser runs exactly 1 minute and 48 seconds, which is 20 seconds longer than the recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. This indicates that it will be a true teaser, and may not include too much actual footage from the film itself.

It is speculated that the Ant-Man teaser will debut next week, just in time for New Years. There was a 9 day gap between the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer being rated and when it eventually debuted. And when it came to Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, there was an 8 day gap. The question about where it will debut though is a whole other matter.

While this Thursday's release of Into the Woods seems like a good fit, with both movies coming from Disney, it's believed to be too soon. If it debuts in theaters, Taken 3 is the only other good match for the movie, but that doesn't happen until January 9th. If Disney and Marvel decide to debut it on TV, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve is a possibility, since it airs on Disney-owned network ABC, home of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel's Agent Carter. With Marvel's Agent Carter debuting January 6, we may very well see it during the two hour premiere. That actually makes the most sense.
