He oido en las noticias de RAC 1 que Apple ha contratado a gente de Google para desarrollar (arreglar las grandes cagadas) su aplicación Mapas.

The iOS Maps team is looking for a proactive and hardworking software engineer to join our team. The Maps application is used by millions of customers and it's the best mapping program on any mobile platform. Our team is also responsible for MapKit, the iOS framework that displays maps which is used by countless applications on the App Store.
The iPhone, iPad and iPod touch have revolutionised the mobile industry and have changed people's lives. We want to continue to do so. We want to take Maps, MapKit, Compass and our other location technologies to the next level and rethink how people use maps, location and geo information. We want to do this in a seamless, highly interactive and enjoyable way. We've only just started!
As an engineer on the Maps team, your responsibilities will be working with among others rendering of 3D flyover models, mesh generation of terrain, road rendering. You will be using c++, advanced shader techniques and will be working hard to get the most out of different hardware platforms. You will work closely with the other engineers on the iOS Maps team and other teams at Apple.
Required:
- BS in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with 3D graphics programming
- Strong C++, object-oriented programming and design skills.
- Passion for product quality and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Additional success factors:
- Experience with the iOS SDK and Cocoa programming.
- Understanding of map projections and mapping techniques.
- Familiarity with and a passion for location-based technologies.
