Rock a tope (clásico, duro, metal, extremo....)

Ahora estoy enganchadísimo a la discografía de Talisman, la banda de Jeff Scott Soto desde principios de los 90, magnificos, ya no sólo por la voz descomunal de Soto sino por la exquisita instrumentación. Hard rock del bueno, del auténtico que engancha por sus riffs y melodias.
Genesis, su segundo disco, es descomunal, pero el resto no están nada lejos en calidad.
 
A mi los DT con Jordan o sin el me gustan igual, no tengo ningun problema con sus ultimos discos, me parecen magnificos tambien, es mas pienso que fue bueno que Portney se marchara. Ahora bien este proximo e inminente disco que van a lanzar me esta dando miedo, no hay ninguna suite ni tema largo.

No los conocía... muy buenos. En general el death metal lo prefiero sin melodías ni florituras, más guarro y directo; pero estupenda recomendación, sí señor.

Me recuerdan un poco a Theory in Practice por lo mucho que intentan abarcar (incluso voces limpias y ciertas melodías) aunque quizás algo menos intensos; también a Pestilence. El bajo juguetón se agradece (¿ecos de Atheist ahí?) y hasta he podido escuchar algún ramalazo Voivod...

Por cierto, hablando de Pestilence, también me gustó mucho el disco que sacaron el año pasado (aunque como los cuatro primeros, ninguno).
 
Grandioso disco otra vez de The Neal Morse band " the great aventure ". 143 minutos de gran musica, potente y de calidad. Lo mejor que escuche en este inicio de año.
 


Portnoy, Rudess, el guitarrista de la banda de Neal Morse (si me dicen que es Petrucci me lo creo) y el bajista de Haken.

P.D: Pena que a Rudess no lo tirasen por la borda del barco

But, of course, there will be new twists and turns and robust new creative inspiration behind the album. Some special guests will be on the album, but those will be revealed later... again, in keeping with the working title of the album, "The Secret"
