Nuevos servicios en streaming de Google en el horizonte.

Youtube Music Premium viene de camino, cómo forma de consolidar diversos servicios (Google Play Music, , y Youtube Red, que desparecerán como tal con el tiempo.) ... e incluso antes de su lanzamiento, Google ya ha confirmado que estará disponible en varios países, incluido España este mismo año , donde Youtube Red nunca llegó a desembarcar.

Habrá también versión gratuita con publicidad. Si eres subscriptor actual de Google Play Music, no tendrás que hacer nada y se realizará una transición limpia cuando llegue el momento.

Apple Music Embeddable Web Player Widget Updated to Let Subscribers Sign in and Play Full Tracks, Albums, and Playlists


Apple has updated its Apple Music tools website with a new interface that allows subscribers to sign in and play full songs, albums, and playlists within embeddable widgets, leading to speculation that the company could be about to introduce an Apple Music web client.

Apple has been hosting the tools URL to let artists download Apple Music badges and generate embeddable widgets for promotional use on their own websites and blogs.

Previously it was only possible to play 30-90 second sample tracks in widgets. However, a Reddit user discovered that after logging in with their Apple Music credentials using a sign in button, they were able to search for and listen to full songs, albums, and playlists through the site, as well as add songs directly to their Apple Music library without being kicked out to another app.

Lo estoy probando. Que mala es la calidad de sonido. Los del chat me dicen que es que Prime Music está limitado a MP3 128kbps, que si quiero más he de pagar por la subscripción al catalogo completo (Amazon Music Unlimited). No me voy a quejar, total, va incluido dentro del paquete por 20 euros al año (de momento).

Pues sinceramente para una escucha no crítica... Es decir coche, ambiental etc esto es un golpe muy fuerte contra Spotify.

Vamos a probar.

Es que a mí a veces se me lía con cuentas americanas y para España quizá sí sea el catálogo completo.

No, el prime Music no es el catalogo completo. Ese es el Amazon Music Unlimited que vale lo mismo que Spotify. En USA es igual.
 
Definitivamente parece que viene de camino el reproductor web de Apple Music.

When a user provides permission to their Apple Music account, your app can create playlists, add songs to their library, and play any of the millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog. If your app detects that the user is not yet an Apple Music member, you can offer a trial from within your app.

Y puedes buscar por la letra de las canciones también. Eso si, siguen sin separar álbumes de singles y LP´s. :doh

No pasa nada. De hecho el catalogo de Amazon (el completo), dicen que es mas grande que el de Spotify.
 
Novedades en Apple Music para hoy, se están distribuyendo poco a poco sin necesidad de actualización de software:

Apple appears to be rolling out a series of updates for Apple Music today, including a small but useful new section called "Coming Soon," which allows subscribers to check out new albums about to be released over the next few weeks. On iOS and macOS, the hub is located in the Browse tab > New Music > scroll down to find Coming Soon > tap "See All." Music Videos were previously the last thing to see here, but now Apple has introduced Coming Soon as well.


The hub lists artists from a variety of different genres, with impending albums from Panic! At The Disco ("Pray For the Wicked", June 22), Florence + The Machine ("High As Hope", June 29), Interpol ("Marauder", August 24), and more. With only about 10 albums listed, Coming Soon isn't an entirely definitive source of every upcoming album on Apple Music, but albums have been added to the section throughout the morning so it appears Apple will be continuously expanding this area.

On macOS, there is a drop down menu for sorting options, but it only has a "Recent Bestsellers" option at this point. Apple could update this to make it even easier to sort upcoming albums by release dates, genres, and more. On iOS, however, there is no sorting option at this time.


In another addition, Apple is now making it possible to easily see album launch dates on their respective pages on iOS and macOS. In the Editors' Notes section, following the traditional encouragement to add the pre-release album to your library, there's a new line that begins "Album expected..." followed by the album's specific release date. Some albums not listed in Coming Soon still have a release date specified on their pages, so this update appears to be a bit more wide-ranging.

Lastly, another rollout appears to be happening today in regards to artist profiles, showing up as of now only in iTunes on macOS. These profiles have a slightly tweaked layout with artist portraits in circular bubbles, and a "Featured Release" that includes release dates.


There's also a "Play" button next to the artist's name, which was first noticed by iOS 12 beta testers and appears to be launching now for all Apple Music users, although as of writing MacRumors has only seen profile updates on a computer running macOS 10.13.4 and not on iOS. This button shuffles all of an artist's music at once.

The Coming Soon tab and release dates have appeared for multiple users on iOS 11.4, as well as on macOS 10.13.4. Apple didn't mention Apple Music during its WWDC keynote and at this time doesn't appear to be planning a major update to the app this fall. Besides the updated artist profiles, iOS 12 beta testers have discovered that subscribers will be able to perform searches for music via lyric snippets.
 
Me da un poco de cosa meter mi Apple ID ahí... Supongo que está todo en orden, pero si algún experto lo confirma, mejor.

Leete el hilo del reddit que enlazo primero. Digo yo que si dicen que va, es que va, esta gente no se anda con tonterías. :cuniao.

Además, el tipo sería tonto se ha puesto el código en Github y tiene algún bicho malevolo. Pero si llevas razón , mejor que @Discord Pie le eche un ojo.

Entiendo además que MusicKit ha sido liberada por Apple para que los desarrolladores hagan cosas cómo esta, ¿no?. No sé.

Mejor nos esperemos a que Apple lo lance oficialmente. Eso, o una app dedicada solo al streaming de Apple Music, que para mí sería lo suyo.
 
Calla, me corrijo. Olvidad esto. @deimos @Discord Pie . Parece que Apple tiene una herramienta para desarrolladores (una web) donde se puede escuchar directamente Apple Music. Si vas aquí, verás que puedes buscar albums de todo el catalogo y previsualizar 30 segundos de las canciones . Pero si inicias sesion, puedes reproducir los discos y las canciones completas... me parece que lo van a lanzar a publico más pronto que tarde

EDITO: Decir que he estado leyendo un poco las condiciones, y al ser un servicio que cuenta con la colaboración de Google...cada 30 días comprobarán de manera automática que las ubicaciones de los miembros del plan familiar, realmente vivan en el mismo sitio....

Pues efectivamente parece que MusicKit ha sido lanzado por Apple con la idea de que se creen reproductores web personalizados basandose en plantillas, entre otras cosas. @Macas @deimos @Discord Pie @Tim

Si, que mola, si. Mírate el vídeo de desarrolladores cuando puedas, son 25 minuticos, explican todo lo que se puede hacer en la web con Apple Music.

Lo único que me da pena es si esto significa que Apple no va a lanzar su reproductor web "oficial", y dejará que la gente se los haga por su cuenta.

Mola lo que cuentas. Aún no he llegado a MusicKit en la tanda de videos que tengo por ver de la WWDC. Pero si cuando lo anunciaron tenía buena pinta, ahora con lo que cuentas parece que va a estar de puta madre. :ok
