Pues imagen espectacular, aunque el careto de Tom Hanks no sale muy beneficado del 4K.

En EEUU en Vudu.com ya hay 110 películas en streaming en 4K, Dolby Vision y Atmos. Y muchas de las copias digitales de los discos son canjeables allí.

Back and forth comparisons also reveal the Dolby Vision version is noticeably better than the HDR10 and the BD with a significantly richer, more vibrant color palette throughout. Reds and greens are unbelievably sumptuous and practically pulsating with life. Meanwhile, the blue in the sky is a bit more vivid and fades into the whitest areas far more naturally than the SDR version, which sadly suffered from some very mild banding. In fact, it's rather shocking now to see how the Blu-ray appears faded and somewhat dull compared to the Dolby Vision. For example, when Gru talks to his neighbor Fred, notice the vibrant yellows bursting against a luminous blue sky and lush green grass.
When compared to HDR10, Dolby Vision offers a notably wider array of secondary hues further complimenting an already spectacular picture and giving the overall presentation bit more pop. Sunset skies glow with an arrangement of magentas, creamsicle orange and fiery orange while the faint freckles on Angus and the liver spots on Dr. Nefario are far more apparent and discrete from the rest of the rosy peach skin tones. Viewers can even see the light wrinkles around the eyes of Gru because they're of a slightly darker shade, and Kyle actually shows teal-colored hairs whereas, in the BD, it looks more ash grey.
Presented in its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, the 2160p video also comes with a much brighter but still comfortable contrast, allowing for better visibility of the details. Honestly, the amazing work done in the animation can be better appreciated here than in SDR. While whites maintain a brilliant crispness and true-to-life glow, the fine lines in the furniture and the stitching in the clothing are razor-sharp, giving each item a surprising sense of realism. Improved specular highlights provide various metal objects a lustrous shine and radiance while revealing the tiniest rust spot, dent and negligible imperfection, adding another layer of realism to the image. Interestingly, the white walls in Vector's house glow a bit brighter in DV than in HDR10 as though functioning like florescent lights.
Blacks also receive a marked improvement, looking darker and inkier in Dolby Vision than in the BD and HDR10 counterparts. With exceptional gradational differences between the various shades, viewers can better make out the wrinkles and threading in Gru's charcoal-grey jacket. Although the HDR10 version is pretty stunning in its own right, brightness levels seem a tad richer and realistic in Dolby Vision, allowing various leather-made objects to reveal a rough, pitted lifelike texture that further. And in Gru's underground lair, there's better visibility of the every object and piece of equipment in the Nefario's lab without losing the rich, penetrating darkness in the shadows, making this Dolby Vision HDR presentation one of the best and finest currently available.

En la segunda parte dicen textualmente que la versión DV deja a la SDR bluray a la altura del betún, de vergüenza. Yo opino que eso ya lo hacía la HDR10, pero bueno...

Pone que sólo han visto la versión HDR10 y eso ya les basta para flipar. Lo cual nos lleva a la conclusión de que o es flipante o hay muchos flipados.

Puedo prometer y prometo que la DV es maravillosa
Esta semana voy a hacer una comparativa como Dios manda en dos teles lado a lado HDR. Una Sony HDR + UB900 con HDR10, y en el otro lado del cuadrilátero una OLED con el OPPO en DV. Para ello ya dispongo en mis manos de dos copias UHD de Despicable Me.
Es una comparativa justa y equilibrada entre dos TVs de las buenas del ejercicio 2016, con lo cual más equilibrado no puede ser el envite
No confío en promesas, en hypes, expectativas, tornados fuerza 5 ni nada por el estilo, lo siento. Mi sentido de la prudencia siempre es mejor que cualquier exclamación sonora hiperventilada por Internet.
Confío en lo que veo y en mi propio criterio, que intenta ser lo menos adulterado posible.
Sin acritud por parte de absolutamente nadie. Me cansan mucho los foros últimamente, con tanta sobre-excitación, datos maquillados, exagerados, medio falseados, retorciendo la información hacia el lado que uno quiere que se retuerza...

La que voy a tener que aguantar cuando siga hablando dentro de 3 años sobre UHD con mi mismo proyector, me van a llamar de todo. Sin Dolby Vision ni pollas.
No tienes nada que aguantar, King. ¿Estás satisfecho con lo que ves?. Pues ya está. Eso es lo que vale, lo que digan otros, pues me parece genial, pero yo ya estoy muy cansado de tantas gilipolleces, sinceramente.

Estoy enamorado, más que satisfecho.
Yo mientras me entretenga en los foros voy a seguir, como sabes no me tomo demasiado en serio las cosas, no deja de ser un hobby por el que no merece la pena pelearse.
Ya me medio arrepiento a volver a estar en activo en mundodvd, allí hay muchos más malos rollos, pero ha sido fundamental conocer a unos cuantos allí para poder dominar el HDR en proyección.

Los foros están bien según con quién te juntes y confíes. Yo tengo grandes amigos de hace más de 15 años conocidos en foros. Otros me han amenazado de venir a apuñalarme a casa. Taraos hay en todos lados.
Antes quizás había menos "mala hostia", o al menos eso percibo yo. Ahora todo es demasiado agresivo, demasiado grandilocuente, demasiado "mi opinión es mejor que la tuya y te callas la boca o te hostio".
Para mí siempre es fundamental conocer a la persona, físicamente. Por eso esos amigos que tengo los conservo como oro en paño, porque los conozco físicamente y se como son, no como creo que son (de nuevo, sin acritud para nadie).

En eso estamos de acuerdo. Yo no doy crédito a nadie en los foros porque están plagados de ignorantes que opinan de todo sin tener ni idea, incluso en muchos casos, sin haber probado. Sin embargo, sí que doy crédito a muchas reviews de confiaza porque con el paso de los años me han demostrado su profesionalidad y buen hacer, pero los foros españoles?? Doy más crédito a los chicos de MM 
Eso sí, en las reviews se pueden equivocar porque son humanos, pero la base profesional sobre lo que opinan no la tienen las legiones de ignorantes que pululan a diario por los foros españoles

Pequeño retraso en la entrega de John Wick 2. Espero que mañana caiga... Cago en to.
Esto me recuerda que en el fondo odio el formato físico. Lo estoy comprando porque es la única forma de pagar por tenerlo.
De verdad es que vaya panda de dinosaurios los de la blu-ray association. Tendrían que haber creado un verdadero servicio de copias digitales de forma que pudiéramos descargar a un disco duro una copia exacta del disco y reproducirla como si fuera el disco óptico.
No me importaría que fuera encriptado hasta las trancas como un videjuego de PS4 / XONE y limitado a reproductores especiales, pero es que es un retraso total a estas alturas depender exclusivamente del formato físico para acceder a la máxima calidad de un estreno.
