Rock a tope (clásico, duro, metal, extremo....)

Para finales de año se prevee el lanzamiento en Blu-ray del concierto de la última gira de Porcupine Tree. Fué grabado en Ámsterdam.
 
A mí me gustaría que ya que supuestamente se acaba la banda, en el blu ray de porcupine metan un buen documental no ya de la gira de reunión(que seguramente se haga) sino también de la historia de la banda pero con esto sería obligado contar con Colin Edwin y me da que eso no es posible.
 
¿Pero hay entrevistas recientes?, no he visto ese documental, pensé que sería material de archivo, en ese caso pues ojalá Wilson decida hacer una retrospectiva como regalo de despedida.
 
Ya se verá si se acaba la banda. Juraría haber leído a Steven Wilson decir que su nuevo álbum gustará a los fans de PT. En el fondo, guay lo de sus proyectos en solitario pero que lo ha pasado de coña con este giro inesperado de PT está clarísimo. Total es juntarse con dos colegas. No olvidemos que Barbieri tocó en el Royal Albert Hall con Steven Wilson en la última gira de este. Y toca los teclados en “Self” de The Future Bites.

Por lo que he podido ver en el trailer, si. Intercala archivo y actual.
Incluso juraría que el que viene en In absentia también lleva entrevistas para la ocasión.
 
Ya empezó la gira de festivales y obviamente siendo el hellfest han hecho un setlist bastante cañero en general, con blackest eyes, open car y anesthesize.
 
Mucha gente criticando la decisión de poner playback al bajo y no llamar a Colin, hay varias críticas hacia Steven también.
 
Qué palizas es la gente. Antes llaman a Nick Beggs que a Colin. Pero ni con esas, con concierto en 24-48 horas, no se aprende el repertorio ni Dios.
 
Entiendo un poco el mosqueo por el uso del playback con ese instrumento. En Harridan tiene que quedar frío, por ejemplo.
En conciertos es muy habitual el uso del backtrack (creo que se dice así), cuando quieres que se escuche algo significativo del tema y es difícil de llevarlo al directo (la parte de cuerdas de Sleep together por ejemplo).
Y como dice Tim, es que en tan poco tiempo, incluso aún tirando de Nick Beggs u otro, se tiene que aprender un repertorio en tiempo record y eso luego decae en la presentación final.
Pero oye, que somos humanos ante todo y si un familiar necesita apoyo o lo que sea y es tan urgente como para dejar una gira, a tomar por culo y la gente que no le guste, siga el mismo camino.

Bah, artículos de cotilleo sin aportar nada. Sigo a McStine en Instagram y su opinión tiene 78 míseros comentarios, muchos de los cuales son a su vez suyos, y más de 1000 me gusta. Lo que no sé es de dónde saca el artículo que fueron Wilson y Barbieri los que decidieron seguir, dejando a Harrison aparte, cuando ninguno ha dicho nada. Lo de seguir con lo de Colín erre que erre por parte de ciertos fans es una pataleta absurda. Ojalá saquen disco nuevo y McStine y Navarro tocasen.

Lo curioso es que ninguno de esos fans que patalean preguntan qué le habrá pasado a Nate Navarro.
 
Por cierto, McStine ha puesto como Story en Instagram un enlace a un artículo similar añadiendo algo como “mira mamá, por fin me usaron para un clickbait”.
